A quiet, book-lined study with warm lamplight

Our Story

A calm place for serious financial conversations.

Havenridge was founded on a simple premise: that most people understand their finances better when they're given the space, structure, and support to think things through properly.

About Us

Built around the belief that financial clarity is available to everyone.

Havenridge began as a small seminar series run out of a shared office in the Civic District. The original intention was modest: to offer working adults in Singapore a comfortable, well-paced way to engage with personal finance topics that are often treated as either too intimidating or too simple.

Word spread. The seminars grew into structured programmes. Over time, the team developed a method that blends financial instruction with reflective exercises — the kind of learning that doesn't just fill a notebook but changes how you actually think about money.

Today, Havenridge offers three distinct programmes, each designed for a different stage of financial life. From first principles to long-range family planning, the approach remains the same: patient, thorough, and built around conversation rather than prescription.

We are based at 25 North Bridge Road, in a building that has housed financial institutions for decades — a setting that feels, to us, appropriate for the work we do.

Our Mission

To help individuals in Singapore engage with their finances in ways that are thoughtful, sustainable, and genuinely useful — without pressure, jargon, or shortcuts.

Our Vision

A Singapore where people make financial decisions with confidence — not because they've been told what to do, but because they've developed the knowledge and frameworks to decide for themselves.

Our Values

Patience, honesty, and respect for the participant's own intelligence. We don't oversimplify and we don't dramatise. We believe good financial thinking is cultivated, not rushed.

Our Standards

How we approach quality and responsibility

Educational Integrity

Our content is reviewed regularly to ensure it reflects current regulations, CPF policies, and Singapore's financial landscape. We do not present opinions as facts.

Data Privacy

Personal financial details shared in sessions are handled with full discretion. Participant data is never shared with third parties. We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Small Group Sizes

We cap participant numbers deliberately. Smaller groups allow for meaningful discussion and ensure facilitators can respond to each participant's specific context.

Current Curriculum

Programme materials are reviewed and updated at the start of each calendar year, with mid-year revisions when regulatory or market changes require them.

Participant Feedback

We collect structured feedback at the end of every programme and use it directly to refine sessions, materials, and pacing in subsequent cohorts.

No Conflict of Interest

Havenridge does not sell financial products and receives no commission from any financial institution. Our programmes are educational, not sales-driven.

Financial education in Singapore — what Havenridge offers

Singapore's financial environment is distinctive. CPF contributions shape retirement planning in ways that differ substantially from other countries. HDB ownership intersects with investment thinking in ways that many advisors overlook. Tax considerations, insurance frameworks, and estate law all carry local nuance that generic financial education simply doesn't address.

Havenridge programmes are designed with this context in mind. Each session draws on Singapore-specific case studies, product landscapes, and regulatory frameworks. Participants leave not just with general financial concepts but with the understanding to navigate their own situations — accounts, policies, and planning decisions that are distinctly Singaporean.

The team at Havenridge holds professional backgrounds across financial planning, investment analysis, and adult education. The curriculum reflects both depth of subject knowledge and a genuine commitment to making that knowledge accessible and practically useful.
